I've slapped together approximately 173 pages of material that aims to teach programming a personal website with HTML and CSS to artists, animators, writers, music producers, etc.

F*ck It, Let's Make a Website Part 1 is now live ✨

173 pages is just this one chapter that teaches HTML and CSS, otherwise there's 2 more (relatively short) chapters included. There's plenty of example code and diagrams that attempt to explain the concepts visually and practically

(a screenshot from the document featuring a diagram of how tables work. It looks horrific because HTML tables are horrific.)

But because I know looking at text and example code can be boring and not engaging at all, I slapped all my example code into CodePen so yall can play around with it too. Try building on the code with what you've learned!

Also, I hate talking outta my ass without being an example of what I'm trying to teach, sooo I slapped together not just 1, but 2 example websites for this guide.

Arf² Studio's source code is on GitHub, both are hosted on CodePen as well (links in guide)

And because I really want yall to make personal websites so badly, I made 7 free-to-use website templates for yall. You can grab them on ko-fi and gumroad

If you find the guide to be helpful, I'd really appreciate you consider doing any of these:

1. your feedback! what can I improve? incorrect info? got a question for me?

2. anticipate the next part!
